Yo! MTV Raps & Puma

This weekend my friends and I hit up the release party for PUMA's new Yo! MTV Raps Clydes sneaks. The music was off da hook. Ol school rhymes were performed by, Grap Luva, Asheru, EmoniFela, Flex Matthews, & Hueman Prophets. The atmosphere was electric and the base was booming. If you werent able to get there that night here are a few pictures and video clips of the night.

Running cross country, school, and getting 35 hours a week at work isnt leaving me enough time for Do You! but I will keep up with the posts alot more since I getting adjusted to my schedule. If I had my own personal computer I would be able to do alot more stuff.

The entire Do You! staff have been pretty busy preparing for our last year in college and all the stuff that goes with it. Last weekend I was in Mississippi(born and raised) for a cousin's wedding. After the wedding I went to this hole in the wall joint named Sevens. I thought it was gonna be a horrible nite but I was proven wrong. There was a B-Boy breakin & pop-lockin competition and there was this one girl who seemed to be between the age of 10 and 12 who tore it up ALL nite. I know many of you might have already heard of her or her music but I just discovered her music yesterday but she currently resides on Chicago's north side. According to her myspace...."she makes club rap and works at a childrens clothing store slanging bibs and teething rings"If you like yo club music and hot beats gotta check her out.

F Street Strolling

Do You! was out and about on F Street shopping and just wasting time last Friday. We were on our way to the Cingular store (which happened to be closing as soon as we got there) and spotted these two Hair stylists outside of their business *sorry cant remember the name?!* enjoying the weather and had to snap pictures of these two.
